Safety

Project safety is our highest priority. ECF is committed to ensuring the wellbeing of all of our employees, contractors and the communities where we live and work. Our employees are required to follow a strict set of guidelines outlined in the ECF safety manual, as well as performing under the safety procedures and regulations set by our clients.

ECF HSE Policy Statement

ECF aims to meet, or exceed, all applicable environmental, health and safety laws, regulations and client policies. We are committed to improving our environmental, health and safety performance in the communities in which we operate. ECF encourages open communication and welcomes discussion to address responsible standards and practices where laws, regulations and policies do not exist. We hope to reach and maintain a strong safety environment through onsite training and mentoring with the continuous practice of proper safety procedures under the supervision of our highly experienced engineers.

Our goals under the HSE Policy:

• Comply with all health, safety, security and environmental laws and regulations.
• Communicate and enforce our HSE responsibilities and performance to our employees, contractors and clients.
• Ensure each individual understands his/her role and responsibility under HSE policy.
• Actively manage client relationships ensuring HSE policy is clearly understood.
• Demonstrate vigilance in all technical practices and principals of risk management to ensure HSE protection activities are conducted in a safe and responsible manner with minimal impact to the environment.
• Maintain a secure working environment to protect our employees, our contractors and our assets from risk of injury, property loss or damage resulting from hostile acts.
• Encourage and sustain an open dialogue with our clients by measuring, auditing and reporting all HSE performances.
• Initiate appropriate reviews and evaluations of our performance to help measure progress and maintain compliance with HSE policy.
